Busy Bees Classroom
Infants 6wk-15mo
Welcome to the Busy Bees classroom! Our infant classroom is licensed by DCFS for 8 children ages 6 weeks through 15 months. The teacher to child ratio is 1:4 which allows us to meet children's individual needs. Each child has their own space for themselves and their personal items. We use a communication app called Procare to share daily information and pictures with families.
Meet the Teachers:
Jenny Cox
Jenny has been our Infant teacher since her return in 2008. Prior to her leave, Jenny was the owner/director of NSCC. Jenny has her Bachelor's in Elementary Education and has been working in child care for 30 + years. Her favorite part of working with our infants is being a part of all their growth and development and creating strong bonds with the children.
Jennifer Armstrong
Jennifer joined our team in 2017 as a substitute teacher, joining our full time staff in 2018. She has been in our preschool room, and toddler room, but ultimately loves being with the infants. Jennifer currently has her Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education. Her favorite part about working with infants is helping them achieve their first major milestones.
